Language Acquisition: A Journal of Developmental Linguistics is an online content delivery service. The researches published in this journal makes a clear contribution to linguistic theories by increasing our understanding of how language is acquired. The journal focuses on the acquisition of syntax, semantics, phonology, and morphology, and considers theoretical, experimental, and computational perspectives. Preference is given to papers which make a substantial theoretical contribution, irrespective of the particular theoretical framework employed, but the submission of papers presenting new empirical data of general theoretical interest is also encouraged. The journal carries research articles, as well as book reviews and shorter pieces on topics of current controversy. It may be downloaded and printed for personal reference.
This site is well organized for users. There are general instructions (format, headings, typeface, style for linguistic notations, citations, example sentences, footnotes, and acknowledgements) for users who want to subscribe to the journal. There are three ways to access it; online and print, online only, and print only. Users can freely choose the way to read the papers.

English Linguistics->Syntax->Journal
This is the official website of MIT Working Papers in Linguistics (MITWPL). Founded in 1979, MITWPL is run by graduate students in the MIT Doctoral Program in Linguistics.
MITWPL organazation publishes linguistics materials in three basic categories: MIT doctoral dissertations, MIT working papers (WPLs), and MIT occasional papers (OPLs). The WPL category is further augmented by three specialty series: Endangered and Less Familiar Languages, Philosophy and Linguistics, and MIT Lexicon Project. Through a partnering arrangement with the students of the University of Connecticut (UConn) graduate program in Linguistics, MITWPL also publishes UConn dissertations, WPLs and OPLs.
The website offers a full catalog with tables of contents of all the issues and dissertations. Some abstracts (usually of dissertations) are also available. The site also explains how to place an order. Visitors can check the price of items and shipping rates.
This site is useful for all linguists, especially graduate students who work in GB and the generative tradition.

English Linguistics->Syntax->Journal
Snippets is an e-journal provided by Led on Line: Electronic Archive of Academic and Literary Texts, which publishes works related to the study of syntax and semantics in generative grammar.
The "notes" (as they are referred to on the website) that are published in Snippets are no longer than 1 to 3 pages each. These notes are not just articles on a certain topic that the reader will find in any journal of linguistics; rather, they have the specific objective to call attention to those areas that are considered to be problematic, inconsistent, unobserved, or forgotten in the literature. Therefore, they are very interesting and provide new and diverse insights into existing topics. As stated on the website, these notes take their form from the early squibs published in the "Linguistic Inquiry." Notes are published twice a year, and all the notes are downloadable in PDF format. Some of the editors include such scholars as Danny Fox (MIT) and Hisatsugu Kitahara (Keio University).
This site is excellent for those who seek for interesting, short articles on syntax and semantics within the generative grammar framework.

Natural Language Semantics     |

|
English Linguistics->Semantics->Journal English Linguistics->Syntax->Journal
Natural Language Semantics is one of the most authoritative journals of semantics, and this website has a brief description of this journal. Springer.com provides this information. Natural Language Semantics is devoted to semantics and its interfaces in grammar, especially syntax. The journal seeks to encourage the convergence of approaches employing the concepts of logic and philosophy with perspectives of generative grammar on the relations between meaning and structure. Natural Language Semantics publishes studies focused on linguistic phenomena as opposed to those dealing primarily with the field's methodological and formal foundations.
Representative topics include, but are not limited to, quantification, negation, modality, genericity, tense, aspect, focus, presuppositions, anaphora, definiteness, plurals, mass nouns, adjectives, adverbial modification, nominalization, ellipsis, and interrogatives. The journal features mainly research articles, but also short squibs as well as remarks on and replies to pertinent books and articles.
However, as the Journals of Semantics homepage, you cannot get valuable information about semantics because this is a homepage for advertising. If you want to see the contents of the journal, you have to purchase it.
