English Linguistics->Syntax->Scholar
This is the personal website of Jason Merchant, an associate professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Chicago.
His professional interests, publications, teachings, and cirruculum vitae are available. This personal website is very resourceful to the reader who wishes to find material on the scholar himself, his works, and other references as well. For example, several of the syllabi of the courses he teaches are provided on the website, along with other links to resources and websites that are related to the course topics and/or objectives. Furthermore, most of his publications are downloadable in PDF format, which is quite helpful to the reader who wishes to obtain his works. Indeed, it seems a very generous act of the scholar to provide most of his works in PDF format for the benefit of readers, who otherwise must search for them on their own. Moreover, several of his presentation handouts are also downloadable in PDF format.
Readers who would like more information on James Merchant, or those who seek to obtain his publications and other works will find this website worthwhile.

English Linguistics->Syntax->Scholar English Linguistics->General Studies of Linguistics->
This is the personal website of Cedric Boeckx, an assistant professor in the Department of Linguistics at Harvard University.
His research interests, publications, awards, and curriculum vitae are available. Also, his course titles and links to websites of institutions and programs to which he is giving service are also provided. A characteristic regarding the design of this website is that it is very bright and inviting. There are pictures of diverse objects, and also some of the scholar himself, on every page of the website that give the impression that the reader is rather strolling through a gallery of some sort rather than looking at the website of an academic scholar. Indeed, there is even a display of pictures of the covers of his books on the Publication page on this website, and not merely a simple list of their titles.
Readers who would like more information on Cedric Boeckx, or those who seek the titles and subjects of his publications and other works will find this website informative.

English Linguistics->Syntax->Scholar
This is the website of Andrew Radford, a professor at the University of Essex. This site provides his personal information, downloadable papers, the list of his publication, and the glossary. In his personal information section, there are several categories which start from early childhood years to present time.
It seems very unusual as it has detailed explanations of those years with several pictures. Thus, people can immediately recognize how his life was and what he does right now. In the downloadable section, people can freely download several articles he wrote. People do not need special access to see his work which seems very generous to the visitors of his website. In the publication section, there is no direct link to his works (books and articles), but only the references. However, information given is enough for anyone to find his works. Another special aspect of this website is that it provides glossary on linguistics. Therefore, if anyone finds difficulty reading the articles of Radford, one can immediately refer to this glossary and find out the exact meaning.
This site is useful to those students who have interest in syntax, and also those who prepare to enter to the University of Essex.
