English Linguistics->Pragmatics->School or Organization
The International Pragmatics Association (IPrA) is an international scientific organization devoted to the study of language use. Established in 1986, it now has over 1,200 members in over 60 countries world-wide. It is listed in The World of Learning, and it is a recognized member of the Consortium of Affiliates for International Programs of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
In particular, it pursues the following goals: the search for a coherent general framework for the discussion and comparison of results of the fundamental research, in various disciplines, carried out by those dealing with aspects of language use or the functionality of language; the stimulation of various fields of application; the dissemination of knowledge about pragmatic aspects of language, not only among pragmaticians of various 'denominations' and students of language in general, but in principle among everyone who, personally or professionally, could benefit from more insight into problems of language use.
However, you cannot get real materials in this homepage. You have to purchase the journal or participate the conference. This homepage is good for graudate students who are interested in English pragmatics.

English Linguistics->Pragmatics->Journal English Linguistics->Discourse Analysis->Journal
This site provides articles related to the study of discourse analysis. This site was first launched in the autumn of 2002.
Current issues, previous issues, and themed issues are available. Themed issues available at present include such as "Theory and method," "Computer-mediated communication," and "Feminism." Although issues are well categorized as enumerated above, the actual number of issues per category is still limited. However, each article can be viewed directly on the website without such programs as Acrobat Reader and so forth, which is quite convenient for the reader. The reader can easily operate the program provided on this website to view each issue, and for the computer-phobic reader who nevertheless feels uncomfortable about the functions on this website need not worry since there is a "How to use" page that demonstrates how to use the viewer and other functions on this website. Furthermore, another merit of this website is that there is a "Search" page on which the reader can find articles related to a specific keyword or subject on which the reader wishes to find an article. Finally, there is a "Resources" page on which several links to pertaining websites devoted to the study of discourse analysis can be found.
Readers who are interested in discourse anaylsis will find this website to be of great help.

English Linguistics->Pragmatics->Journal English Linguistics->Pragmatics-> English Linguistics->Sociolinguistics->Journal English Linguistics->General Studies of Linguistics->Journal English Linguistics->Discourse Analysis->Journal English Linguistics->Cognitive Linguistics->Journal English Linguistics->Applied Linguistics->Journal
The Journal of Pragmatics publishes articles, notes, discussions, and book reviews on pragmatics which deals with the aspects of natural and social interaction of language use. It provides a forum for pragmatic studies in sociolinguistics, general linguistics, conversation analysis, discourse analysis, cognitive linguistics, computational linguistics, applied linguistics and other areas of linguistic research.
The journal is explicitly interdisciplinary in a sense that it tries to cover neighbouring disciplines of linguistics as communication science, information science, psychiatry, and neuropsychology. It welcomes authoritative, innovative pragmatic scholarship from all practice-oriented linguistic standpoints. Empirical relevance, sound theoretic foundation, and formal as well as methodological correctness by currently accepted academic standards are the central criteria of acceptance for publication.
However, this webpage provides only surface information of the journal because it is for introduction and description, so you cannot see it through with details. This website is useful for students who are interested in pragmatics and other disciplines.
